Living Creatures
On our recent visit to Glentana, I snapped some pictures of a few living, or as in the case of the Musselcracker above, perhaps not so living, creatures. The fish above was landed by a fisherman along the beach where we were walking. He had caught two of these and I couldn’t resist taking a picture. Along the same walk we also came across what looked like a young penguin. He appeared to be sick, or perhaps tired. He was definitely off course, since penguins are not usually found along this stretch of coast. I am still berating myself for not trying to help the poor little thing. I hope nature wasn’t too unkind to it.
On another day we visited a Tea Garden. Here, they also had a petting zoo and some farm animals. Our kids just loved feeding the animals, especially the donkey, which was affectionately named Carrots by the boys.
